Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Vinyl LP. Some bands turn into shorthand for a certain sound or style, and Pink Floyd belongs among that elite group. The very name connotes something specific: an elastic, echoing, mind-bending sound that evokes the chasms of space/5(K).

New & upcoming album releases. Music never stops: as true in as it was in , and all the rest. The most exciting drop of the year will surely be the 20th anniversary edition of David Gray’s ‘White Ladder’, but please also turn your attention to some of the other choice morsels on their way over the next twelve months.

Black Truffle are pleased to announce Undercurrent, the new LP from the long-running Milanese duo of Giuseppe Ielasi and Nicola casadecgacoman.llegicphocontswadurulachvenfalopor.coing on from high-profile releases on Boomkat Editions and Shelter Press in the last few years, the eight untitled pieces making up Undercurrent continue the pair’s hypnotic and disorientating practice of improvisation based on tape loops.

Chicago-based indie rock trio Dehd’s Flower of Devotion ups the ante from the raucous garage sound and lyrical sparring of their debut, Water, with more polished and sometimes sunnier tunes. The attitude remains, but the results feel more well-rounded, seeing the band come into their own on their sophomore album.

This collection, out on limited-edition neon pink vinyl via Silva Screen, features rare tracks from the heyday of France's Yé Yé phenomenon, in which sultry young French women, armed with a dreamy innocence, sang sparkling, swinging Gallic pop. Featuring Petula Clark, Jacqueline Taieb and Katy David, expect vibrant vocals and alluring hits.

All I intended was merely to document an album that seemed to be overlooked, and was never going to make it into any orthodox list of " Albums You Must Buy" or such like. For further background, the pink label period releases are lovingly documented in a series of articles in "Record Collector" magazine between September and December
